Three Supplications Related to the Witr Prayer
1⃣. Reciting Qunoot in the Final Rak‘ah
The practice of reciting Qunoot in the last rak‘ah of Witr is not definitively established from the Prophet ﷺ, as discussed here: https://t.me/madrasatuna/4750
2⃣. Supplicating in the Final Sujood or Tashahhud ✅

In Ramadān, many ask: "How far have you reached in the Qur’ān?" What truly matters is not how far you have reached in the Qur’ān, but how far the Qur’ān has reached in your heart.
May Allāh have mercy on Abul-Ḥasan ’Ali ibn Abdil-’Azīz Al-Jurjāni, who said in his Meemiyyah:
يَقُولُونَ لِي فِيكَ انْقِبَاضٌ وَإِنَّمَا ... رَأَوْا رَجُلًا عَنْ مَوْقِفِ الذُّلِّ أَحْجَمَا
They say I am reserved and withdrawn, but in truth,
They have only seen a man who refuses to stand in a place of humiliation.
I see that those who lower themselves are belittled by others,
While those who uphold…
Taking notes while reciting the Qur'ān
Sheikh ’Uthaymeen raḥimahullāh said:
“In Ramaḍhān some of the people of knowledge would have a specific notebook with them while reciting the Qur'ān. Any time they would read an Āyah that would make them stop or has many meanings they would write it down and ponder its meaning(1). They would leave Ramaḍhān with much goodness from understanding the Qur'ān.”

1. If they can see the movements of the congregants praying with the imam, they should follow them accordingly.
2. If this is not possible due to closed doors, windows, or other barriers, then one of the worshippers who can still hear the imam should raise his voice to relay the imam’s takbīrs so others can hear and follow along.
3. If this is not possible, then one of them should step forward to lead the rest…
Allāh ﷻ said:

The Prophet ﷺ continued saying: "There is no goodness except that of the Hereafter, O Allāh! So please forgive the Anṣār and the Muhājirūn." [Reported by Bukhari and Muslim]

"The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ continued to carry the bricks with them in the construction of the masjid."
Ibn Ḥajar, may Allāh have mercy on him, explained this in Fat-ḥ al-Bari(1/526): "His statement: 'ثَامِنُونِي' with the letter 'th' means 'tell me its price so I can tell you the price I have chosen.' He said this…
I was reading the introduction to "Dhamm Al-Mas’alah" earlier today to remind myself of the blameworthy nature of begging; something quite prevalent during Ramaḍhān, and I noticed that Sheikh Muqbil addressed two types of people (rich and poor students of knowledge) and the fitnah each group faces.
So, we will dedicate tonight’s benefit to advising these two groups.

The Qur'ān contains five Āyāt in Sūrah Al-Baqarah (183-187) known as Āyāt Aṣ-Ṣiyām (the Āyāt discussing the rulings of fasting).
Among these Āyāt is the statement of Allāh:
﴿وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِی عَنِّی فَإِنِّی قَرِیبٌۖ أُجِیبُ دَعۡوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ﴾
"And when My servants ask you, [O Muḥammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me."…
-> Three scholars contributed a foreword to it.
-> It was transformed into a poem.
-> The poem was later translated into English. ⤵️

Sheikh Sulaymān Ar-Ruhaili waffaqahullah said while speaking about the constant qunūt (supplication) in the Fajr prayer:
"The early Salaf had differing opinions on this matter, and there are transmitted reports and well-known statements regarding it. I have researched this issue and concluded that performing qunūt in Fajr regularly is not legislated; rather, in my view, it is an innovation. If I were to practice it, I would consider myself to be committing an innovation. However, I do not criticise those who perform qunūt if they are…
The Qur'ān was revealed to be recited, reflected upon, and implemented. However, reflection is the crucial link between recitation and implementation. Through reflection, one gains a correct understanding of the message, which in turn enables proper application.
Allāh ﷻ says:

FINAL NOTE: Although some scholars state that there is nothing authentic to the Prophet ﷺ in this regard, they may still practice Qunūt as it has authentically been reported that some of the Companions practiced Qunūt in Witr. When ‘Aṭā’ was asked about Qunūt, he said:
«كان أصحاب النَّبيّ ﷺ يفعلونه»
"The Companions of the Prophet ﷺ used to do…
Imam Aḥmad narrated the ḥadīth (1727) from Yaḥyā ibn Sa‘eed, from Shu‘bah, who reported that Buraid ibn Abi Maryam said in the wording:
((كان يعلمنا هذا الدعاء اللهم اهدني فيمن هديت...))
"He used to teach us this supplication: O Allāh, guide me among those whom You have guided...”
Ibn Khuzaymah said: "This narration was reported by Shu’bah ibn Al-Ḥajjāj from Buraid ibn Abi Maryam regarding the story of the supplication, but it does not mention Qunūt or Witr. Shu’bah is more precise in memorisation than many narrators of the caliber of Yūnus ibn Abi…
The Ruling on Qunūt in Witr Prayer
Scholars have differed regarding the Qunūt in Witr. A group of scholars, including Ibn Mas’ūd, Ibrāhīm, Aḥmad, Is-ḥāq, and Ahl Ar-Ra'yi, as well as a narration from Al-Ḥasan, have supported its legitimacy throughout the entire year.
On the other hand, Ibn Sīrīn, Sa’eed ibn Abil-Ḥasan, Az-Zuhri, Yaḥyā, and Mālik (in an uncommon narration), as well as Ash-Shāfi’ee and a…
