Sheikh 'Uthaymīn raḥimahullāh said:
“There is no problem if a person bears oath, saying: “by Allāh's Life;” because oath is borne by Allāh, Glory be to Him, or any of His Names, just as it is borne by His Attributes; such as (His) Life, Knowledge, Glory, Power, and the like.”

BENEFIT 50: A MISCONCEPTION RELATED TO SWEARING BY OTHER THAN ALLĀH
It is reported from the Ḥadīth of Ṭalḥah ibn 'Ubaidillāh that the Prophet ﷺ said:
((أَفْلَحَ، وَأَبِيهِ إِنْ صَدَقَ ، أَوْ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَبِيهِ إِنْ صَدَقَ))
“He will be successful, by his father, if he speaks the truth; or (doubt from one of the narrators) he will enter Paradise, by his father, if he speaks the truth.”

BENEFIT 49: SWEARING BY OTHER THAN ALLĀH IS AN ACT OF SHIRK!
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar radhiyallāhu 'anhu said, the Prophet ﷺ said:
((أَلاَ مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلاَ يَحْلِفْ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، فَكَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ تَحْلِفُ بِآبَائِهَا، فَقَالَ: لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ))

Ya ikhwān! It is NOT permissible to swear by anything from the creation. You are ONLY allowed to swear by Allāh, or one of His Attributes.
'Life' is among Allāh's Attributes; He is the Ever-Living (الحي); see Sūrah Al-Furqān - 58, hence why we are allowed to swear by His Life.
BENEFIT 48: DON'T INSULT A MUSLIM❗️
Allāh the Almighty said:
{وَٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡذُونَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ بِغَیۡرِ مَا ٱكۡتَسَبُوا۟ فَقَدِ ٱحۡتَمَلُوا۟ بُهۡتَـٰنࣰا وَإِثۡمࣰا مُّبِینࣰا}
“As for those who insult believing men and women unjustifiably, they will definitely bear the guilt of slander and blatant sin.”

Ibn Abī Shaybah and Aṭ-Ṭabarānī narrated (and this is the latter's wording) on the authority of 'Abdullāh ibn Mas'ūd raḍhiyallāhu 'anhu, that he said:
